Work with a designer who also makes

Have an idea?
Let’s make it real.

I help individuals, makers, and small businesses turn ideas into prototypes, physical products, and clear visual presentations.

Open to discussing future collaborations. Project starts depend on availability.

What I can help with

Three ways to move an idea forward.

These are starting points for a conversation, not fixed packages. I work directly on the design and making, so we can define a sensible first deliverable together.

Service 01

CAD & 3D Printing

For a part, accessory, or file that needs to move from screen to a test print.

Typical project range$100–$250

Possible deliverables, selected to fit your brief:

  • Simple 3D modeling or changes to an existing CAD/STL file
  • Basic functional parts and accessories
  • Print preparation and physical test prints when suitable
  • STL or STEP files when appropriate

Complexity, material, and print size affect the estimate. Examples are not an all-inclusive package. Final scope, materials, shipping, revisions, and complexity determine the quote.

Service 02

Product Design & Prototyping

For an early product idea that benefits from digital design and something physical to evaluate.

Typical project range$300–$650

Possible deliverables, selected to fit your brief:

  • Concept exploration and simple CAD modeling
  • Rapid physical prototypes and a round of design iteration
  • Basic prototype photography
  • Agreed prototype-ready files and documentation

The final scope depends on the number of concepts, parts, and revisions. Examples are not an all-inclusive package. Final scope, materials, shipping, revisions, and complexity determine the quote.

Service 03

Visual Design for Small Brands

For makers and small brands that need clear, consistent product presentation.

Typical monthly range$400–$800/month

Possible deliverables, selected to fit your brief:

  • Ecommerce product imagery and presentation graphics
  • Promotional graphics or simple packaging design
  • Product mockups and recurring visual content support
  • A defined monthly set of deliverables agreed in advance

Monthly deliverables and revision limits are agreed before work begins. Examples are not an all-inclusive package. Final scope, materials, shipping, revisions, and complexity determine the quote.

Prices are indicative, not guaranteed quotes. Scope, complexity, revisions, materials, and shipping affect the final estimate. I do not offer licensed engineering certification or safety-critical engineering services.

My process

Make the next step tangible.

The depth of each phase depends on the project. We agree on the scope before starting.

  1. 01

    Discuss

Understand the problem, requirements, and desired outcome.

  2. 02

    Design

Explore ideas and build digital concepts.

  3. 03

    Prototype

Create and refine models or physical prototypes.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Provide the agreed files, visuals, or physical pieces.

Selected proof

Real work, different kinds of problems.

Each project shows a different part of my practice—from product development and physical prototyping to research and visual communication.

Why work with me

One person across design and making.

I can move between a digital model, a physical test, and the images that explain a product. Running my own small product shop also taught me to notice practical details: how an object feels, how it is photographed, what customers ask, and what it takes to make another one.

When we discuss a project, you speak directly with the person doing the work. My role and any collaborators will be clear before a project begins.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

A few practical details before you reach out.

What types of projects do you consider?

Small product concepts, straightforward CAD and print-preparation tasks, prototypes, and visual assets for products or small brands. I will say so if a project is outside my experience or needs a licensed specialist.

Can you work from an existing STL or CAD file?

Often, yes. Send a short description of the change and tell me what file formats you have and whether you have the right to use them. I can then assess whether the file is suitable for the requested edit.

Can you provide a physical prototype?

Possibly, depending on size, material, complexity, and shipping. We would agree on the prototype’s purpose and the costs before starting.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. We can discuss the brief and review digital work remotely. If a physical object is involved, shipping and review steps would be included in the project scope.

How is pricing determined?

The ranges above are planning guides. I estimate a project from its deliverables, complexity, number of iterations, materials, and shipping. An inquiry does not commit either of us to a project.

What happens after I prepare an inquiry?

Open the prepared email draft, review it, and send it from your email app. Once I receive the message, I can discuss fit, scope, and possible timing. An inquiry does not start a project.

Get in touch

Tell me what you’re making.

Share the problem, what you already have, and what a useful next step would look like. It is okay if the brief is still rough.
